yeah, i guess im really, really sure kidd and deron intend to play together next season, and that they sit firmly in a position to facilitate that. we can argue about what kidds worth at this point, but just looking at the reality of the situation, if deron stays, as im pretty positive he will, kings going to pay jason.

and i agree re farmar. i think hes probably one of the most inconsistent night to night players in the nba, but hes a capable backup point guard and, should he opt in, would certainly have takers in the kind of expiring for expiring deal you described.

Farmar is a respectable backup point guard. It would make sense for him to opt out and look to ink a long-term deal, but the market for point guards isn't that great right now...

I'm pretty sure Kidd came down from his lofty demands earlier in the season. Now it just seems that he wants to backup D-Will and that's all he cares about.
