I hope Hayes isn't the best player in the package that you're proposing. I think the Rockets would only be interested if the deal starts with either Evans, Thornton (even tho I don't want him on this team), Cousins, or Robinson.

The Kings are a difficult trade partner because they probably want to keep their core as much as possible.

As did I!

A 1st with protection that drops. Something along the lines that New Jersey gave for Wallace.

How about Lowry for Isaiah Thomas, Chuck Hayes and a (top 3 protected) first round pick?

Can Lowry command that type of value when the league knows he is being forced out the door?

Either way if a protected 1st interest's you, what kind of protection are we talking?

I dont think the Kings would do that. The Kings are very high on Thomas and see him as a perfect point guard coming off the bench behind a guy like Lowry

Lowry is more valuable then Wallace. Also not being forced out just maybe replaced and one more thing since Lowry is being shopped I am very sure there are plenty of teams that are interested in him which keeps his value.

Lowry does not have to be traded he is just being shopped since Morey likely does not want to lose Dragic for nothing.

Lowry/Morris for Hayes/low protected first.
Swap Rights next year and the following year the Rockets own the pick.(2013, 2014 top 3, 2015 unprotected).

If Budinger fetched an 18th overall, Lowry would fetch a high-to-mid 1st-rounder.

Back to the OP. So, none of the members from the core. No Isaiah Thomas. Then who? You gotta give up something in return.

Personally Im not interested in Morris.

Simplify things:

Lowry for 1st (2013 top 5, 2014 top 3, 2015 unprotected)

I never said Tyreke was off the table. Trading away our only pg (Thomas) would leave the Kings looking for another pg. Trying to fix the point guard position using other assets.

I dont want my value comment to give the impression i believe the Rockets have to sell low. Actually Kings fans hear that all the time about Evans. Just wanted Rockets fans point of view.

Trade would have to build around either Evans or Thornton. I cant imagine the Kings trading Cousins or Robinson. At this point in time the two have too much potential paired together.

hey now, you can never have enough power forwards. isnt that right loyal morey fanatics? you can never have enough power forwards? isnt that what morey thinks when it comes to power forwards, that you can never have enough of them, especially if they're undersized. the smaller the better, twss

Kinda sick of stockpiling draft picks.

How about a players-only trade?

Kyle Lowry and Kevin Martin
for
Tyreke Evans, Chuck Hayes and Hassan Whiteside (I know he's been a bust but he's 7'1 so maybe Camby can mentor him into an NBA player)

Didn't you know it's Morey's genius plan????????? Start 5 PF's with one as the sixth man. Scola IS our new SG.
