I Want Beasley Back

Post#1 » by SmushedPennies » Sat Jun 30, 2012 7:09 am

What's a combo guard love playing next to? A combo guard.

What's a combo forward ideally have alongside them? A combo forward. (LeBron James if you don't follow.)

Its not over for Beas, he still has mucho talent, and could find a niche here if his head is in the right place. Besides, those UD-Beas debates were fun.

Not sure how the money would work exactly in a trade, but if we can convince Kahn Harris is a PG, that might be a starter. :D

Would be low-risk, high reward. Not to mention all the warm, fuzzy feelings that would come along with it. Redemption. Full-circle. Supercool.

Discuss.

Should have never traded but, we have no money for him and Beas is going to get paid more than we can afford now. I still root for him though, never really got a chance here.

I don't remember you as a Beas supporter back in the day, in fact didn't you support Spo's benching

I was always a Beas supporter. I just happen to be a Haslem and Spo supporter too.

I always wish he'd have stayed a Heat as I loved his style but I can also understand his benchings - especially for his lackadaisical defense.

I think Wright would be the better fit for a return but would love to see Beas back - maybe when he becomes a FA.

Yeah, I've wanted him back for the last few months. He'd work great with this team. He's basically just rotting in Minnesota too, so it shouldn't take that much to bring him back.

Me too, I love B-easy. Still can't believe we gave him up for basically nothing.

Also, I would love to get Jamario Moon back, he was great for the half a year he was here.

Lets be honest....

The Heat truly need a 6th man who can consistently score. Beas could fit that role.

I still SMH :nonono: that we gave him up for basically nothing. He would have been dangerous here with Wade, Bosh, and LeBron getting all the attention. He could slash with minimal help coming his way.

we got Mike Miller for him. I'd say that wasn't nothing after Game 5.

No. Below average PER, and he doesn't rebound, play defense or move the ball.

Miller was the right move for the current team over Bease. But we should have gotten more then 2 second round picks.

Pretty sure its Williams they want to offload and Beasley was being used to try to get Pau, otherwise they will probably try to keep him.

He would do wonders for Chalmers cause there would be a new whipping boy.

Moving Beasley for peanuts was a terrible move. He could hav been showcased better and gotten a very good return. His handling was very poor.

Exactly. You don't give away a 2nd year player averaging 14pt 6 reb for nothing. Atleast get more than a measly 2nd round pick for him
