If Philly has the worst record in the league next season and gets the #1 pick, that means we get it? How much protection does it have?

But you're right, if ray allen signs with them, then they've basically got the same team as last year only a year older. They'll have bradley back though, that'll help them. Clearly we can make a good run at the championship with this same team if we have to...I really wanted us to get someone that could give James and Wade a breather next run down. I guess we can hope for big things from the continued development of Pittman, Cole, and maybe Harris.

The rest of the league is definitely looking a little scarier. But if Wade comes back in great shape, healthy, having worked on his shot and stuff, I think we'll be way more dangerous than last year.

KG is smart and got paid. Remember he has a ring. I dont see Bosh playing center until the end of the season near playoff time and i dont see Lebron playing PF. Boston can still sign Ray if they want just to keep him out of our hands. If only there was so super athletic young PF we could have drafted, if only

Philly's pick is lottery protected.

Here we go again, making decisions for millionaires, I would have done the exact same thing if I were KG - no one knows the motivation behind players singings, we just lost Ronny FROM A CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM.

Does signing KG mean ray will certainly walk?

KG was never coming here  Plus its been proven throughout his career that he is a loyal guy. He was either resigning with Boston or retiring.

Let's see how aggressive we are at getting Allen now that KG re-signed with Boston

Jet looked better than Allen last season.

still prefer Kaman, Nash, Billups and Mayo.

Would like to get Dragic and Camby for the min too.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

I'm almost certain Ray won't go back to Boston. I mean, they did try to trade him twice last season... I hope we get him.

I also wouldn't be opposed to getting back Dorell Wright if Ray doesn't sign. Possibly package Joel and James Jones? Then we'd for sure go after Camby.

Dragic and Kaman will command more than the min. Before Allen's injury, he was having the best shooting season of his career. Rather have him than Jet Terry.

I'll give whatever we've got for Kaman.

If they signed KG i think they will try to keep Ray. They can easily out bid us thanks to his bird rights and for the icing on the cake keep him away from us. That said no clue what Boston will do, i thought they wanted Mayo over Ray but may not have the money for Mayo

Chris Tomasson via Twitter

Mavs guard Jason Terry just wrote in an email to me he "definitely'' will consider the Miami Heat when free agency starts Sunday.

Yeah I can't lie, i want Ray Allen, but would be just as happy with Jason Terry. Terry has that fire man. And we know he is healthy. How sweet would be it be with wade and Bron kickin out to Terry for the 3, he knocks it down, then runs down the Miami floor with the Jet arms sticking out lol i'd love that
