JJ Redick for Devin Harris is KOC master plan predicted

Post#1 » by blackham9258 » Sat Jun 30, 2012 8:00 am

I am calling it now.

Jameer opted out... Wants a new bigger longer deal... Dumb move by him frankly in a yr w tons of mediocre-good pgs available via FA or trade. Orlando doesn't want to sign a 4 yr $30-$36M deal w him when they don't know about dwight. But they also can't alienate Dwight and they have to keep their cap available for CP3. Harris is a slight upgrade and they save cap and face w Dwight.

They have until July 8 to guarantee JJ...

This will be our final significant move of FA. Book it!

Maybe jameer opted out because he wants a change. Its not always about the money. Most of the time yeah. But not always

I am sure looking over the landscape of all the better PGs available right now and the few teams that need a starting PG, and the fact that Florida has no state tax.... He was thinking I want to go somewhere else and make $5M instead $8ish.

Man, it is always about the money and he just made a bad decision.

Yeah I'm sure it had nothing to do with wanting out of the sh*it storm that has become the Orlando Magic. Maybe, just maybe he looked around and said, "Ya know, without Dwight this team TOTALLY blows! So, would I rather re-up with this awful roster and risk having this team trade me to a team like the Bobcats, or should I simply pick where I want to play for the few next years?"
Yeah, what a bone head.

You know, there was a time when I would have loved this deal... but I just don't anymore.

I love having Gordo's length at the starting 2 spot and I don't think I want JJ coming in as our bench 2 instead of Alec. He fills the need of an outside shooter... but I just don't think he fits very well other than that. If we're going after a shooter, I want someone with some decent size and length.
