Now that I checked their lineup, who on that team plays any defense?

did any of you guys really watch the clippers play in the playoffs last year? Their defense was actually pretty good in spurts with reggie evens, kmart bledsoe williams on the court. Their main problem was half court offense. They took too long to initiate it and had chris paul dribble waaaay too much. Their biggest problem is getting easy buckets because none of their bigs have a low post game. They will be fun to watch during the regular season. But once the playoffs come around they will be very limited and probably only make it passed the 1st round. We'll see tho I think losing Mo Williams was a big deal he was instant offense for them off the bench.

That's what I was thinking too. The Clippers played good defense. Just that their offense was horrible at times. If Blake gets a solid post game and Deandre learns how to play defense and not just weak side blocks, they can give OKC a hard time.

Blake Griffin is for my money, the most overrated player in the NBA and the Clippers are absolutely laughable as even a pseudo-contender. Offense stagnates too much and they're not tough enough. Their defense, while competent in the playoffs, was not championship level, which is what will hold the Thunder back in my opinion. I'm sure the NBA and the networks would rather have the Clippers as opposed to the Thunder as the dominant team in the West, but barring a quantum leap, the Clips are what they are, a first-round exit. I can't see them beating the Thunder, Grizzlies or Spurs, hell, I can't see them beating a Mavs' team with Deron Williams either.

^ I already saw them beat the grizzlies, in a 7 game series and win on the grizzlies home court. They can't beat the spurs, because they spurs have amazing ball movement. They can beat the thunder IMO. If you watched any of the clippers/thunder regular season games last year. Thunder had a hard time with the clippers.

Would be so great if the Clippers battled the Lakers in the playoffs and eliminate the Lakers....

how would the home games work? lol..........change the paint on the floor but that's about it.

I think they could get out of the West if Blake grows his game enough this summer.

Also unlike the Thunder they are a little older and have a lot of champions on that team. Odom, Butler, Billups. And a very hunger superstar in CP3. CP3 would be a nightmare to handle.

On the other end though, they have nobody who can guard Lebron or Wade. And their coach is an idiot.

If Blake improves to become a legitimate post threat, they're coach is the only reason why they wouldn't make the finals. Clips got some potential.

Their flopping ability is always something to be feather. Don't take that Clippers team lightly, because they themselves will.

They make defying the laws of physics look easy.

Probably re-sign Chauncey Billups and Kenyon Martin too

Thank God they are in the west. i hope the west is just stock-piled with great teams so that it's a war to even get to the finals every season. that will give the Heat an advantage. I think OKC having to go against Dallas-LAL-Spurs hurt them a little

I disagree. I think tougher earlier rounds, if you can make it out.. Help you as the playoffs progress. I really think being pushed by Indy and Boston helped us in the Finals
