OFFICIAL TRADE IDEA's THREAD: NON-EXCLUSIVE TO DWIGHT

Post#1 » by Skin » Sun Jul 1, 2012 7:34 am

Other team forums have this and I think it's a good way to organize the many ideas that our fans and fans from other teams can come to post them and get feedback. This will especially be needed with the sure onslaught of fans from other teams bringing up Dwight Howard trade scenarios.

I like the houston idea

Lamb/White/Jones/Lowry and whatever else we can get (future #1?)

Would give us alot of young talent every year, and while we would likely suck this year, we would get a high pick and could probably find our starting center next year

C - BBD
PF - Terrence Jones/Nicholson
SF - Royce white
SG - Lamb
PG - Lowry

While that team would be a 20-25 win team next year, just imagine if they all develop properly, way too much potential in that lineup, especially if that #1 next year nets us a guy like Nerlens Noel, Rudy Gobert or Cody Zeller

Just for clarification; is this thread intended to be realistic trade ideas or just pipe dreams that have little logic behind them?

I like this trade. Anything to get Bynum is a MUST. With the way the league is going, there aren't many center left. Bynum is a beast when he's actually care like he did in Game 1.

How is Bynum a must have? Am I missing something here? The guy has had 1 season where he wasn't injured on the sidelines and now people are saying we must get him?

This is a perimeter league. I want great wing players over a great big man.

I have been saying for awhile now, we need to form a 3-way trade with HOU and LAL for Lowry/Bynum.

But LAL would need to get more out of this. No way they gave up Gasol and Bynum only to get back Hedo and Dwight. We may need to work out a S&T with Jameer/Ryan and send out JJ too.

And I'm not sure if Houston would help us with anything other than trading Dwight anymore.

Oops... Thanks for pointing that out. The second Hedo was supposed to be Luis Scola

Bynum would be perfect, if not for his knees. Only ones in his entire career has Bynum lasted for full 82 games and in his 7 seasons he managed to play in 90% of games only twice.

Keep in mind that Lakers admited pushing Bynum to play through injury entire past season hoping to either trade him for Dwight or win title trying.

I approve, great idea. :wordyo: This is going to keep the board well organized, especially through these tough times with Dwight.

Thanks DJRajX, it was just getting crazy with the threads, people were using the "New Thread" button like "post reply".

Hopefully this makes it easier for everyone!

Link to where the Lakers admitted to making Bynum play through an injury just to trade for Dwight this past season.
