I am not trying recieve hate or undervalue Dwight for this but how far off would Dallas be offering Brendan Haywood, Shawn Marion, Roddy Beaubois, choice of 2012 Mavs drafted players, choice of future picks and maybe add a separate trade S&T Jason Terry for Hedo Turkoglu? This is the best package Dallas has availible without adding 3rd or 4th team. Dirk has a no trade clause.

Very far off, considering what Houston, Lakers, and possibly OKC have to offer.

If we can get a Harden type player, cap relief and picks, Dwight is gone.

Very far off.

Thats what I was afraid of. Dallas just doesn't have the assets that many of the other teams do to give orlando value for howard.

I love that separate S&T  but that package from Dalas is not going to get Dwight. I see your point, and that may be the best Dallas can offer, but for that kind of package I'd rather trade him only for expirings.
I believe that it's better to have cap space than get a bundle of average players in return. The Magic learned that lesson after trading T-Mac to Houston for Francis, Mobley and Cato.

Agreed, although I think if we wanted to trade him to the Thunder we would be asking for Westbrook and fillers.

it'll most likely be houston. i'm not sure the lakers will give up bynum at this point if they think it's a rental.

houston: dwight howard, chris duhon
orlando: kyle lowry,royce white,jeremy lamb,kevin martin and a few future 1sts

would be the best offer they'd probably do

What is the deal with players refusing a trade? is it possible or do they have no say?

If its all we can get from Houston than we made a mistake by not trading him before the draft to select players that we like with those 3 picks. Lamb seems like a good pick at 12, not sure about two other guys.

i would still rather have bynum though. getting a center who is probably going to put up 25/12 here as a no 1 is about as good as we're going to get. and we'd still have the cap room next year to surround him with talent next offseason. he'd stay with us too. he wants his own team and we'd be able to give him that and offer him the most money.

This. Martin included over Scola because he's an expiring. I don't want Scola's contract.
