Just a thought, how would have people reacted if we did end up swapping #4 and #24 for #6 and #11 with portland and drafted the same players?

We'd probably have a second left then

Doesn't really matter but I thought we could have found a good player in this draft early in round two.

Yeah I'd love to have taken either Doron Lamb, or Quincy Miller.

But we got what we got and now we live with it.

Because it's safe to say if Royce White didn't participate it was because of his anxiety he didn't even take the trip, so he was never there, similar to Dion.

So I'm guessing you guys like waiter more then you did Bradley Beal? And how do you, guys like Waiters? Personally he's a guy that needs the ball to have a impact so it will be interesting to see how Kyle and waiters balance out the ball duties with each other.

not necessarily. cavs could have coveted both equally but knew waiters didn't come with selling off the farm (or tyrus thomas' 30 million dollar contract)

Will Portland be able to retain small forward Nic Batum in free agency? Cleveland is making rumblings about throwing the vault at him.

Joe Freeman @BlazerFreeman But one league source said to expect Minnesota, Cleveland and Toronto to chase Batum vigorously.

Cavs going hard after Batum. Love his game. I think he's an all-star in a few years and he's 23. Great defender. However, how much? In a few years, Kyrie is a max guy, and TT is hopefully a $10 million big when their contracts are up. We also have Waiters who is hopefully a fringe all-star level to re-sign. Plus, Zeller. Lot of cash to fork out with potentially 3 firsts next year. Don't want to cripple ourselves from signing our own guys.
