Which is why if I'm Henny I proceed to call his bluff. He can't walk to Brooklyn as a FA and everyone knows that. And do you honestly think he'd walk away from a Magic team capable of signing two stars to play alongside him? I find it hard to believe.

A core of Ellis/JSmoove/Dwight surrounded by key roleplayers would legitimately challenge Miami.

Yup. However if I'm the Magic, and I hear the Lakers are interested and want to send us Bynum, and take Hedo and/or Duhon off our hands, I'll have to listen.

Last season we were complaining about too little big depth, now we have too much. I can deal with that.

We have to do better than taking on a huge contract and being locked into a 45 win team.

Even if Bynum gets better and stays relatively healthy, I don't see us being able to put a great team around him with him demanding max money next year and us being out of the lottery.

The absolute best deal would be to get some combination of Boogie Cousins, Tyreke, T-Rob, and Isaiah Thomas while they are on rookie deals and build that way. Too bad the Maloofs are broke.

Lakers will still trade us Bynum even if Dwight does not agree to extention. They had a deal in place in March for Dwight. I hope he goes their, cuz he does not want to be a Laker and I want him to go to a place where he does not want to be and won't be the MAN

The great thing about Bynum is we decide his future. If he's not what we hope for, we could let him walk or trade him after the year. That and the fact that Shaw and Bynum already have a relationship (if that's who we go with for coach).
