Ray would be a good fit here too, and I'd love to see him get another ring. Any news on a big man?

I never bought into the Ray Allen noise. He'd have to be receptive to 7 million dollar haircut, and a reserve role to the team that kicked his teams ass in the postseason the last two years lol. Guy was always going to reup with Boston. That group is too close.

We don't need any of them suckas. Kill them again.

Ugh, this is why I hate the off-season. I wish we could just arrive at next season, see who we got, and take it from there, rather than all this d*** speculation and sources BS leading up to every move/trade/signing.

Ray should get the idea about being replaced by Bradley in the starting line up (he did have an injury but he proved to be effective when Bradley was healthy), and then going after OJ Mayo.

The Grizz made an offer to Ray but I am not sure he would even consider them. I think he's staying in the East.

This might come down to money... we only have the mini MLE I believe.

This is a little OT but Asik is no longer a Bull and I can see Ronny getting playing time with Chicago if they don't get another big. He more likely opted out because he wants to play.

He gets injured a lot though.

Wow, looking at these ridiculous numbers being offered to some of these players, I have a feeling we're going to have a hard time signing the scrubbiest of scrubs. I wonder who will give Bibby a 3 year 50 mill. deal?

The unrestricted free-agent center, Marcus Camby, has narrowed his choices to the New York Knicks, Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, Boston Celtics, and the Dallas Mavericks, a league source told CSNNW.com.

All of these teams and then some, called Camby's agent, Rick Kaplan, shortly after July 1 hit, inquiring about his services, but at this point in his career, he's only considering teams in contention for a championship, the same source said.

Forget aout Allen, it is ALWAYS about the money... hes staying in Boston and once again we were used as leverage to scare rival teams..... It is about being realistic... How many players out there would decine double the money? And it looks like Boston will be a contender once again next year. Hes also playing bench here so i dont see why he would choose us.... Pipe dream if you ask me.

Ray Allen is 2nd of my concerns. I think in limited roles, Terry can offer us more than Allen and it concerns me that there is no buzz linking Terry to the Heat.

Hey, that's us.

I want Camby above all others. if Howard goes to Bronx with DWill we need a center, so that Bosh won't have to defend him.

I'm told Riley is really trying to land a big he feels could play and be in the rotation. Nothing on Allen

damn when I saw you replied to this thread I thought you were gonna tell us some good news

nothing on Allen? well then those sources saying Allen to Miami is close to being done must be false since if it was close you would've heard something.

At first, I didn't want camby, but I keep hearing houston fans saying he's better than dally and he's cheaper. If it's true, then hell yeah. We need him

If we can't sign anybody, then we will need to bring Ronny back. You don't find many mobile bigs that fit our "system" like he does. I don't want him joining the bulls bench crew and giving us headaches in the playoffs.

So he's suddenly going to be better after he leaves Miami?

Allen or Terry mini mle

kenyon martin vet min

camby vet min

thats our best bet id say

Chalmers/Cole
Wade/Allen/Harris
Lebron/Battier/Jones
Martin/Haslem/Vernando
Bosh/Camby/Joel/Pittman

you replace howard curry and turiaf with Martin Camby and vernando thats an upgrade

Return to Miami Heat
