Well we can cross out our dreams of acquiring Kevin Martin...
Ken Berger ‏@KBergCBS

Rockets have had some talks about Kevin Martin, but are planning to keep him, league source says. Martin has $12.4M expiring contract.

Asik is a good player off the bench. Play him more than 25 minutes and you are getting diminishing returns.

Morey is hustling everyday. Great GM. LOL.

If there ever was an opportunity for Morey to have a chance of getting Dwight, it's now with the primadonna's recent tantrum. He needs to risk it all and do something like this:

Martin + Scola + Lowry + Patterson/White/Jones + Parsons + whatever pick he has

for

Dwight + Fat Baby + J-Rich + Q-Rich

It's a good rebuilding trade for the Magic. Saves them around 4M immediately, Martin is an expiring, Lowry is on a great deal, and they get rid of 3 bad contracts. The downside is Scola's contract but it still leaves them with more flexibility than they have now.

His team is filled with average players yet they've maintained a winning record in the tough Western conference. You cats hating on the Rockets just look really stupid when you consider the fact the Knicks with 2 superstars are barely a .500 team in the Eastern conference. On top of that a 1-8 record in the playoffs.

If Morey was available as a GM, I would hire him in a nano second. Imagine if he actually had all-star caliber players and resources to work with!

People say Knicks fans are knowledgeable, I'll say about 20% are the rest wear rose colored peddled glasses.
Some of you guys need to humble yourselves and realize that this team is not that great and there's work to be done. To start making fun of other teams seems pretty stupid to me. We haven't seen a good knick team in over 10 years for crying out loud..

Preach!!!!!!!!

Morey is doing a great job, he is collecting assets while maintaining flexibility.

Asik is a great role playing on the team with the best record in the league.

A center combo of Camby/Asik would be great

I think Morey had a good draft. Where a player is drafted is meaningless. Hypothetically if a team offered Shumpert, Faried, Leonard as part of a package for Dwight, would the Magic be interested? If Houston struck home with all their picks, they could still be a big time contender in the Howard sweepstakes?

Magic are trolling Morey.

Morey: Come on I got all these draft picks for you. Can I have Dwight now?
Hennigan: No.
Morey: Come on what else do you want?
Hennigan: Asik.
Morey: Really? I have 7 PFs because of your stupid games.
Hennigan: Yeah I promise this time
Morey: Fine....

It's actually 5 per in the first two seasons and then becomes a nice 15mm expiring in year three.
