It is amazing how Howard went from being all that was right in the NBA, to all that is wrong in the NBA in the span of a year.

Oh and that Suns/Washington trades was the start of our down fall.

^^ thelead is right. The abundance of short sighted moves that Otis did year after year destroyed this roster. If Henny can correct all of this, they need to erect a statue in his honor in Orlando.

With that being said, this does not excuse the piss-poor behavior that Dwight has shown to this franchise. Our fanbase and the city of Orlando does not deserve to go through this back and forth with him for another season.

That Dwight wanted.

He wanted VC and Rashard gone and wanted to get his buddy Arenas in here.

I'm not fully blaming Otis, Why can't Dwight wait one more year and pull a Wade? You know why? because he is a spoiled little brat that wants his way now.

Dwight was on board with the trades then too.

I assume you don't mean Steve Blake. ;)

No way we get Bynum/Lowry unless we ship out Ryan Anderson to LA.

LAL isn't trying to trade Gasol for peanuts.

Could someone give me a simple roster of who we actually have on our team, i just need a quick recap of whats going on. Byrum for Dwight straight up would be great in my books, why have a player who doesn't want to play for you? and if somehow we got rid of some bad contracts or got a couple young upgrades thats even better! This year was the worst season I've ever had as a magic fan of 14 years it started with the lockout and ended with D-hoe, I'm so ready for something new.

A good GM doesnt cater players, a GM job is to improve the team not please players. It was Otis fault.

All I know is that this turn of events just gives Rob the best opportunity to prove his worth...draft, free agency, trading dwight, hiring staff & coach...has there ever been a young GM put into such an extreme situation??

He will have his mark on this thing. So far I really like the way it's going. Losing Dwight from a basketball stanpoint is bad but that pretty much was always going to happen. As soon as these guys get a sense of themself that isn't accurate their teams suffer. I honestly am surpised at the human being that Dwight has become.

Dwight didn't turn a finals team into a first round loser.
