IMO - won't happen, Ronny is going for the Money

Camby i think would be a good fit. rebounder, shotblocker, mobile, doesnt clog paint on offense.
If not him, Kenyon Martion could also work. he's like a bigger Turiaf.

let's do this Riely...bring us the good news about Allen and Camby.........

Ira Winderman

Omer Asik offer sheet from Rockets is fascinating in that it might force Bulls to amnesty Carlos Boozer eventually, possibly adding another Rashard Lewis-like veteran on the market.

Ira Winderman ‏@IraHeatBeat

Omer Asik offer sheet from Rockets also figures to change equation with Marcus Camby, who had indicated he would give Rockets first dibs.

Where do people get this idea than ronny is small? He's an inch taller than martin and has a slightly longer wingspan.

I can tell you this from talking to him last week. He loves Miami and his family loves Miami. But I doubt they amnesty him. Boozer may not live up to the max he got but his way better than Asik and has value around the league

I'm surprised to see Camby on the market. Last I heard, he was content in Houston (on and off the court).

Hopefully, we can snag him.

I would value an addition of Marcus Camby just as much as almost any of the swingmen we have been linked to thus far in free agency.

Camby would instantly be our best rebounding and shot blocking center on the roster. He is also at a point in his career where he will be willing to go ALL IN and do whatever is asked to help the team win. he has nothing left to do but win a title.

Marcus Camby can make us deadly.

He can still defend, block, rebound, and finish at the basket.

At his age, he needs a limited role/minutes, however, that has been proven to be successful. In around the 20MPG he was playing, he averaged about 9 REBOUNDS! We can start him, then bench him for Bosh to slide over to the 5, or rotate in Pittman/Joel. We could also play him in spurts.

Man, if we get Camby/Allen, I will call it an offseason. Although they are old, they would definitely go all in and buy into the system to win.

A lot of people are mentioning Camby but with all of the teams that need a Center he is going to get offered way more than the vet min.

Yeah, I doubt we're getting Camby. It'd be great, but have you guys seen what the market looks like for Centers right now? Hibbert a max deal, Asik a 3 year $25 mil? Even at 38 I know he can do better than the vet min. Question is if he wants to win.

If you are someone that was crying about not drafting Perry Jones, you should be looking for us to sign the older similarly talented version of him...Anthony Randolph for cheap.

He could play next to Bosh in a fast but still tall front court

cant see Pat Riley going that route unless every FA in the league tells MIA no thanks

Novak? No way.

Did you not see us make him obsolete against the Knicks?

Even Miller tries to create more shots for himself.

Yes, but we are US, no one else will be that. No one else will play him like us and he gets off his shot against any team not named Miami Heat

I definitely won't be mad if we get Novak as a last option. Hurts the Knicks, and he can score off the bench. He's not good defensively though but at times he can stay in front.
