wow he's basically admitting he's a liar by saying he wanted out a while ago... so why would we believe him that he didn't use the term blackmail? He's definitely looking worse than lebron now.

it really upset me that anyone would say that I was doing something out of spite for my team or my city. I have the utmost respect for the Magic organization, for the people of Orlando. Everything I did was from my heart, and I would never do anything to betray my city.

why does he say stuff like this?

He just doesn't get it and isn't too bright. Someone should hand him a dictionary that only has one definition in it: hypocrite. If he wanted to leave fine, but why jerk us around by giving the loyalty speech and waiving the option... he's doing exactly what he said he wouldn't do which is betray the fans.

So, if you wanted to leave the Magic, why did you opt-in by waiving your ETO and apologize to the entire world for your actions? All you had to do was play in another city for a couple of months and then walk to Brooklyn as a FA.

Exactly what I said a couple pages back this is like the Carmelo situation.

Its obvious if Howard really did want to go to the Nets, he had to draw a line at somepoint.

I guess that point is now.

If he truly does feel like its his city he's in for a rude awakening when we're forced to trade him. He will be hated more than Shaq for the way he handled this whole situation and flip flopping. It's going to be very interesting his first game back... the boos will be off the charts and we all know he won't be hitting his free throws that night.
