Dwight is going to screw us... Or at least try. He says he won't resign with anyone but one team (presumably the Nets). I want to see what he says once they have no money for him next summer.

Who would he sign with?

Brooklyn?

and why would they have no money they only have like 4 mill in cap for 2013 they'll resign D will and Wallace so thats like 32 mill and they can just offer guys one year deals this season so they'll only have around 30 mill tied up long term

Kris, and Brook aren't taking one year deals and Deron will not sign with NJ knowing they'll suck for another year when he has the option to get back to his hometown and play with dirk.

I don't understand fans like you... That's like if you know your girlfriend is exchanging texts with some other dude and you know she wants to leave you for him, but then she finds out there is no way that them two can be together, she settles for you... You'd want that? Cause I have a little more respect for myself than that...

Simply out, why would you want someone who doesn't have their heart in the right place?

I don't think you understand how bad the rest of the roster is. If we start Duhon, we're not going to win more than 30 games next year; and that's even stretching it.

then factor in ? at SG and SF u got the recipie to the best percentage to get the number 1 pick.

What he did was sobad I expect one of two things to happen.

1) Dwight lets everyone in on some crazy promise or event in the magic front office that makes us all understand his wanting out.

Or

2) Dwight resigns with us and claims it was all BS.

The whole fight with jameee is throwing my judgement off.

I'm sure many are upset... check what people are saying to him on twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/search/realtime/%40dwighthoward

We've already exhausted it on this board, so it's almost like we aren't surprised... just waiting for it all to end. Tomorrow morning there will be many people ranting on here though.

i'm guessing that Dwight is real scared that the Brooklyn express is gonna leave without him, which is why he's trying to flex his muscle now.

time is on our side. hold on to him, let the Nets use up their capspace and take themselves out of the running, then if he still wants to leave, he won't be trying to scare off as many teams.

if they don't use that space and they do hold out for him, ship him off to the highest bidder that's prepared to offer some youth/picks and an expiring. if no one is buying, then just bench him for the season and teach him the biggest lesson of his life.

Jarrod N Rudolph @JRudolphSports

Piece should be up in a moment. Howard didn't get into the reported trade request. He did, however, speak to the "sources" fueling stories.

Ok so here is how it will most likely play out.

Since Howard has one more year on his contract, a sign and trade is not really necessary because the team he play for this year/after trade deadline is gonna have his bird rights.

This means the teams willing to trade for him without assurance would basically be looking to use his bird right as a selling point.

He should definately be moved before the season as the Magic's leverage would shrink before the trade deadline.
Originated from the nethermost, currently however, our entire squadron is now hither.

Very well said. Rob isn't taking their trash back and they probably won't have money for him in a few weeks (and if they do, it's because deron left for Dallas). We're going to have to hold him for a while now.

wtf is with all the girlfriend analogies on this board when it comes to Dwight? the only thing it does is show that you're responding to this like an emotionally spurned lover.

If Woj was able to get the quote about only being traded to "one team" then why not Rudolph?

Return to Orlando Magic
