unsigned dwight for unsigned bynum sounds about right for me. Lets see what this team can do with bynum and if it doesnt work out he's a free agent and we still have that cap space. I dont see alot of teams giving up young pieces like everyone thinks for 1 year of dwight.

Now if Johnson goes to NJ then thats a whole diffrent ball game and that opens up a lot more doors. I can see this dragging out for a while.

Sounds like we're going to start tanking......

Which is the right thing to do. We need to clear cap space and acquire young players and draft picks. Avoid long term deals to veterans.

Form the presser I am guessing, Jameer will be offered a contract that will be reasonable 4 years 20 mill or so and I think he turns it down. JJ is getting waived. Henny thinks Dwight is not the right kind of guy. JJ is going to get screwed and it hurts Henny a little because JJ is the right kind of guy. Head coach will be a little while yet. 2013 will look a lot better.

I do think Howard ultimately re-ups with whichever team we trade him to, unless it's someone like Golden State. Brooklyn WILL exhaust their financial resources to keep Deron Williams around. It will no longer be an option for Dwight, unless he's willing to sign at a severely reduced rate (and he's not).

When that option is no longer on the table, I think we see Adidas push Dwight to whatever big market can afford him, and there's a very strong possibility that will be where is already is. This has to be in the back of Mitch Kupchack and Daryl Morey's minds as they piece together offers this week.

Very true and I agree. This is why I see Orlando with good leverage and we'll see/hear about a few teams up the ante on their offers. As soon as Brooklyn seals its position by taking on Johnson & re-signing Brook, the bidding war will start with everyone else.

I see him walking to Dallas.

I'd trade Howard to GS for Klay/Barnes and whatever if they still want to rent him, lmao.

I don't know about waiving JJ unless he plans on bringing in another guard. I think he'll bring back Jameer for the right price as he seems like the kind of guy he wants. Dwight, per his own statement, is obviously not a player that Hennigan wants on the team. He wouldn't come out and say it, but he did say he wanted people who wanted to be here.

Obviously not Dwight.

Nicholson is way less awkward than I thought. There's this one strange interview though, lol.

Both guys seem cool. Glad to have them both on the team and I hope O'Quinn makes the roster.

I wish the Magic had the same foresight the Jazz had when they dealt DWill so the franchise wouldn't be going through this all this.

They should have dealt his ass to Houston on draft night with a bunch of our bad contracts for their draft picks and we could have rebuilt with a bunch of solid mid-firsts. We could have even gone in on Sac's pick.

Meanwhile this prick has absolutely killed any leverage the Magic with this whole "I'll only sign with the Nets" charade.

If the Magic end up with Lopez and Brooks considering what the Jazz, Hornets and Nuggets got for their respective superstars I don't know if I can be a fan of this franchise anymore.
