I mean the team's owner has some major deep pockets..

I think you're only allowed to amnesty the players you had before the new CBA.

No. Can't amnesty guys that weren't on the team during the lockout.

Our options still look like the Lakers, Houston, Dallas and the Clippers.
Lakers trade
Bynum for Howard and Odom TPE for JRich and Duhon

Houston trade
Martin, Lowry, White, Lamb for Howard, Duhon

Dallas trade
After they clear thier cap and amnesty Haywood
Marion, Beaubois, Cunninham, Crowder for Howard, JRich, Duhon

Clippers trade
Jordan, Butler, Bledsoe for Howard, Duhon

Houston seems to be the best fit and you hope he stays, although if you send him to LA he is less likely to sign with Atl in the offseason.

There just cannot be a trade with the Clippers that does not include Blake Griffin

The Magic can match any offer to Anderson and by S&T, it would ease the Kings burden if they have to offer big bucks. They have extensions coming eventually and don't seem to have Evans in their long-term plans.

We can ask the kings for Draft compensation in exchange for us not matching the deal. Can even be something like the ability to swap picks in 2013 draft or a 2nd round pick.

07/02/2012 7:40PM EST Alex Kennedy:

Restricted free agent Devin Ebanks has drawn interest from a number of teams including the Orlando Magic, Oklahoma City Thunder, Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers, according to sources close to the situation. The Los Angeles Lakers extended a qualifying offer to Ebanks last week, which means they can match any offer sheet that the 22-year-old signs.

Who?

Hes a Hennigan type. High IQ, defensive minded wing, rebounds hard, and has good handles for a wing player. Is very much tapping into Hennigans ability to evaluate player talent here, because as of right now, hes a nobody, but i trust Hennigans ability...

Ryno doesnt worth it.

We can pull a Gortat, match anything and trade him somewhere else Dec 15th. Usually the best option, if the team doesn't need the space this offseason.

The problem is if Kings offer a BIG contract, so Ryan could become untradeble.

i know that the Dwight situation hasn't been resolved, but seeing guys like Johnson, Okafor, Shard and Marv Williams being moved makes me wonder why Hedo is still on our team.

regardless of what Dwight does, i'd have thought that getting an expiring for him would be in the best interest of the team?

Certainly could happen, but given how cheap the Kings are I don't think it'd be an outrageous deal. Of course you run the risk of Ryan bombing next season and average career lows and having no trade value.
