[quote="The1llness"]I know Hennigan is being patient and observing the landscape and I'm cool with that and all but he needs to pull the trigger on a deal soon because a lot of GM's are making moves and it feels like the Magic are being outmaneuvered.[/quote

No you can bet he's on the phones but with the TRASH Roster we have , we can't trade for anything good.

Are you sure that's correct? I know amnesty is one time but cut and stretch I read was as much as you wanted but the total cut salary had to be under a certain % of cap?

I didn't know the details but I thought it could be used more than once. Still unsure.

Shaun Powell ‏@Powell2daPeople.Whenever the subject of Dwight Howard returning home someday to play for the Hawks was raised, Dwight (softly) shot down the idea. Since leaving the ATL outta high school, he's never lived there in the off-season, never warmed to the idea of returning. For any reason.

There is no one on this team worth stretching. First it would involve waiving them. Second it produces minimal savings.

If it's someone like JRich or Baby it'll only get the Magic around 3M in savings next summer while they're still on the books through the 2018-2019 season.

See how someone can change their mind? Josh is happy again. I don't know if just Josh is enough to draw Howard there. They need something to make that engine go. If they get cp3 also, then I can see that being attractive enough to draw Dwight in terms of contending, but he would lose money and don't know if the market is what he wanted (same for cp3 for that matter). I wouldn't be mad at him for going home though.

for a year, we got hear about Dwight wanting Brooklyn and he was gonna get there. Now we get to hear about Dwight going home to make the Hawks a dynasty. SMH

I hope this ends soon. Ship him out soon or get the extension, I don't care; just end it.

Nice, but they don't have the cap space to sign him this summer. ATL will acquire expirings that get off the cap next summer.

You know what's going to suck? We may finally see Dwight playing with Josh Smith and CP3 or Monta... just in a Hawks jersey... all players we've gone crazy over with rumors in recent years. :banghead:
