Just a fan inquiring about Derrick Williams. Are you guys trying to trade him? If so for what?

I'm sure they're listening to offers for him. Looks to me though like we're gonna hang onto him though unless an overwhelming offer comes along.

We'd deal him for a deal based around an athletic 5/4 or a 2.

Not looking to take on bad contracts if since we have none to send back.

I would think that if Batum comes on board then they would most likely listen more intently on Williams. But as of right now it sounds as though he is staying put unless a to good to pass up offer comes along.

Can't remember where I read it but supposedly, when asked if he would be on the team this coming season, the FO said yes.

Personally, I'd love to see what he can do post-K-Love workout plan.

This is the absolute WORST time to trade D-Will.

You CANNOT sell low on a #2 overall pick still on his rookie deal.

He's got the physical tool set but just needs to be coached up. Would be extremely disappointed to see him traded and I hope he stays.

I think it would be worse if he disappointed for a 2nd year and his value dropped much further.

Who cares? he's still on his rookie contract. His value will only drop so far, and having to play behind Love and getting spot minutes isn't going to go well for him.

He HAS to lose weight, and get quicker to play the 3, otherwise he's not going to succeed here.

Yep, he looks great.

If he can get down to 220 at 6'9" with his wingspan, he could be an absolute TERROR.

I love the guys' upside and believe he can be a star

I'm no pro, but that photo looks fake to me. Didn't Kahn just talk about how DWill had gotten down to 233 pounds, but then put on a few pounds after getting pink eye. His goal is 225. If that's really him, I think he's hit his goal.......

I'm curious to see what the guy can do minus 15-20 pounds.

This is seriously the only trade I would include Derrick Williams in. Obviously in this trade, we send 2 firsts to Orlando also:

^^Agreed... I am getting sick of hoping for the best only to be disappointed. Of course with the twolves luck the one person they decide to move ends up an all-star.

with that said, I think if Batum signs, then he will be moved to bring in a Gasol or Iggy (hopefully Iggy). If the Batum dosen't sign, then it gets tricky. I like Iggy and Gasol as an additional piece along with Batum, but not by themselves, so I would prefer to just hold on to him.

FML I don't know.
