TOP 5 Worst teams next year and why

Post#1 » by DerrickRose23 » Tue Jul 3, 2012 5:00 am

1. Charlotte - good gilchrist move but he is more a robin and not a batman- no main guy = no chance
2. Milwaukee- the small backcourt mixed with the worst front court in the league = no rebounding and not enough defense - have literally no chance next year
3. Phoenix - nash leaves and they do not have enough talent
4. Cleveland- Irving will be dominant but he will have no help
5. Atlanta= By midseason they will have just horford or smith but not both- they will struggle i bet you anything

I actually think Cavs have a shot at the 8 seed next season. they were about a .500 team before varejao went down, and they added Waiters and zeller in the draft. real good chance they get into the playoffs IMO

Irving
Waiters
Gee
Varejao/Thompson
Zeller/Thompson

Cavs are going to be competing for the 8th seed. Waiters should have an impact and they were pretty competitive up until Irving got hurt.

We're not gonna make the playoffs - but I really doubt us being a top 5 worst team.

Charlotte - another couple of years and a few more lottery picks before they're decent
Toronto - even with Nash, just not enough talent on the team
Sacramento - will still take time to figure out Tyreke vs. Cousins while Jimmer looks like a bust
Golden State - just confusing what they're trying to do with the roster
Milwaukee - ditto, confusing roster

Sadly the Bucks won't be anywhere near the top 5 worst teams in the NBA next year, they will instead continue to be supremely mediocre and finish in the 8-11 seed.

1. Heat- last time they won a championship, they followed it up with the worse record in basketball. So history repeats it's self again. [I hope]
2. Bobcats- young team that needs to learn how to win.
3. Suns- No Nash and they could be falling like a rock.
4. Kings- Young team that does not know how to win or play team defense
5. Hawks- could be very bad and looking to play for more ping pong balls.

If NO matches Gordon there is no way that team finishes with one of the top 5 worst records. They won 20 some games last year in a 66 game season playing their top 5 main guys basically never. They are healthy now, and have added Davis and Rivers. I think they're a playoff team out west. We'll see.

??

I would have thought it was incredibly clear what they are trying to do with the roster.

Yeah, that happened 2 seasons after they won.

Not really sure the reasoning behind these two. Care to explain?

Bobcats, Wizards, Suns (without Nash), Orlando (without Dwight), Brooklyn (without anybody but Joe Johnson devouring cap space)
investigate Adam Silver

It is not as if Gordon has an amazing history of health and durability though. I would not hinge my hopes on a player that hopefully plays 60 games.

Well I have faith they can do it in one year, this time around.

They traded out their best (albeit average) vets and added rookies. Davis will be a good player but it's a very long time since a rookie helped his otherwise bad team to big win totals. Meanwhile I think a couple of teams are going to throw the max at Gordon who isn't likely to play all of the season if he stays with his injury history and like Davis isn't good enough to carry them to significant win totals. They'll be a good team, but not for a few years imo.

1. Bulls - The tank's fired up, can't wait.
2. Raps - In 5.
3. Cats - Ben Gordon and Kemba Walker backcourt mixed with MKG, Biyombo, maybe Tyrus etc.is going to be completely dysfunctional and hilarious.
4. Pistons - Nothing hopeful to make me believe they'll do any better than last year yet.
5. Hornets - Unibrow mixed with mediocre.

EDIT: Can't believe I forgot the Magic. Without Howard, they might be least favorite team. Van Gundy deserves COTY or Howard deserves MVP for keeping that pile of trash competitive last season, and they're both gone.
