Toronto is a lovely city, diverse and beautiful sights and is A LOT better than Cleveland, Minnesota, Detroit, Denver, Oklahoma and many cities if you think otherwise GTFO...

Once we start winning the players will want to be here. Why we suck is a different matter, much of which is due to bad management over the years.

I actually think sucking and blaming it on bad management is over simplifying it. Heat sucked for a couple of years, Bosh and LeBron went there. Nets suck but Paul and Howard want to go there. Knicks sucked just as long as the Raptors and Amare went there, Carmelo wanted to go there, Chandler went there. Pacers sucked but West went there.

I think you get what im trying to say, just because we suck cant be the only reason that big name FAs dont want to come here. Though it seems like some change their tune the second that another big name decides to go to these places, this is where the Nash factor for us could definitely help.

Most American youths are brain washed to think living in America is the best thing in the world
and living outside of it is second rate...

However players not wanting to play in Canada is over blown there has been a few cases
but mostly it has to do with the team always having incompetent management and thus the
team not being good.

In the NBA more than any other sport players will abandon a franchise or team if they aren't
championship contenders. Star players bail on Orlando yet you never here people say players
don't wanna play for Orlando.

Kobe was spoiled all those years playing on great Laker teams then the one year it got rocky
he asked for a trade and was this close to being traded to the Bulls before they made the
Gasol trade.

Out of curiousness what made you a Raptors fan in Australia?

Was it because of VC and the show he put on during the 2000 Olympics in Australia? As for
Bosh don't worry about it he is not worth the Max is not a good defender and this team
couldn't win a playoff series with him as the franchise player. Im glad hes gone just pissed off
that Colangelo let him go for nothing.
