For those just getting moving... Nets and Magic had "fruitful" discussions on Dwight Howard trade... nothing close but both sides talking.

Broussard also reporting Kris Humphries in the deal... both Hump and Lopez would have to agree to new deals with Orlando
Mark Deeks ‏@MarkDeeksNBA
Lopez will be BYC if signed for more than $3,692,377. So if Turkoglu is coming back, unless other fillers are used, Humphries will get PAID.

From what the other tweets are saying, it is Brooks, Lopez, Humphries, the 2013, 2015 and 2017 1st rounders, unprotected. I would also be asking for at least one more 1st round pick (2019) and for them to take back JRich and Hedo.

How stupid would that be.

Alright we take back Hedo who has only two years left, but for that to happen you guys need to take back KH with a longer bad contract! Deal!

Really?

Have not heard from anyone if Hedo Turkoglu is included, if he is that's a smart move by Rob Hennigan - I'd find a way to jam in Chris Duhon

Hennigan can go from Hero last night to Zero today if it's true that he's talking to Brooklyn ..

More important than moving Turk is dumping Duhon and JRich at this point.

I'd still prefer a deal for Bynum.

I'm not even sure how all this will work. Lopez is a RFA and would have to want to come to Orlando. KH is an UFA and would have to agree on a sign and trade to Orlando.

Both of those guys are probably look at 10 to 12 million for Lopez and 7 to 8 million for KH.

Basically if that happens, we need the Nets to take back a combo of JRich, Davis and Hedo. Obviously I would be all for sending Hedo and JRich their way.

Oh and I would also like Bynum over the Nets deal. Then move Hedo, Duhon and possibly JRich for expirings.

I told Kyler that the only way Magic should do this, is if Brook Lopez and Humps are on one year deals. He tweeted this:
@StevekylerNBA
In order to be signed and traded a player needs to agree to a three year deal, but only the first year has to be guaranteed.

Why exactly do some of you want to dump Baby? Was he not our best player during the playoffs?

I can understand wanting to dump Hedo/Duhon/Jrich, but Baby? I'd really like to see him in a Magic jersey next season.

You guys are idiots.

Fegan needs this narrative to create the illusion that the Nets are actually in the running thus to deter other teams from offering something for Howard.

Reporters need agents - agents need reporters. Most of all... Reporters need clicks.

This smells like pure ****. Most of all.. I expect this from Sheridan/Broussard. Rudolph should be ashamed

Duhon needs to go because he cannot play rotation minutes and has a bad relationship with fans.

J-Rich never should have gotten 4 years but think he can be moved.

You can make the case though that both should be moved before Turkoglu.

I hope Rob isn't that stupid. You can't ignore the Nets while they still had expiring contracts and then once those are gone open up negotiations. That is something I would expect from Otis but not from Rob.

If he ends up taking that deal then he lost all my respect.

As much as I hate to say it Kyler is right. That is exactly what happened in the Von Wafer scenario. He received a 3 year deal and only 1 guaranteed year when we traded Bass

Same happened to DeShawn this year, they signed and traded him to Atlanta, its was a 6.9M/3years, but only the 1st one is guaranteed.

Man, this deal D12+Hedo for BL+KH+3picks is awful! It makes the deal for Lowry+Kevin+3 2012 picks looks a dream!

I don't get it...we go from hennigan basically slamming the door on the nets to all of a sudden the talks are "Fruitful" and moving in the direction of going through? WTF? did henny just have some henny and say F it! bye dwight!

This makes no sense..don't tell me the new GM is a flip flopper as well...stand your ground. The NBA doesn't need this to work. Just imagine what can happen when players just start saying hey i wanna play _________ so i'll just force my way there...

“@IAMAGM: Marcus Camby looking for a two- or three-year deal at $3 million per http://t.co/Dfhl9QjA

If we wind up sending Dwight out I would not mind Camby. He is old but he is still playing well. Even if we have him come in at backup C.

I will NEVER pay for anything magic related until rdv sells the team if that trade goes down.
