Only 3 Dwight deals make sense: 1) Blake/DeAndre; 2) Bynum; 3) Horford/Teague + picks. I'm not listening to any other rumors. Thanks anyway.

I just don't understand what happened. Henny wasn't even taking their calls and now he is actually entertaining the Nets offer? Stinky mess is still stinky mess, so what gives? Ugh. Maybe he was thinking that he may do it later, and now hearing of the johnson trade makes him not want to do it because he would be creating a super team? Ugh. Henny don't do it. Wait.

I'd send Dwight to Brooklyn in 1 and only 1 scenario. 4 team trade. The Nets find 2 teams to take a resigned Lopez and Humphries and Orlando gets back young players and/or draft picks. Orlando still gets Marshon Brooks and 3-4 1st round picks from the Nets. And Orlando Dumps J Rich and Duhon in the process.

If Brooklyn can make that happen, then I'd listen

Berger reporting that even people close to Howard dont think the Nets can pull off a trade. They pessimistic about the Nets right now.

Henny has to listen to get other teams to sweeten their offers.

He is just listening, it's not like he will trade now. He will listen, let the doors open and continue pursueing better deals.

Example:

Sign and Trade Lopez and J Rich to Minny for Derek Williams and a resigned Beasley
Sign and Trade Humphries to the Clippers for Eric Bledsoe and a resigned Nick Young
(Doubt Clips would do this but its just an example)
Brooklyn sends Brooks and 3 1st round picks to Orlando and gets Howard and Duhon

Damn I JUST got caught up on everything that's happened between last night and now.

Henny HAS to listen to all trade scenerios I don't know why people are freaking out. I doubt he'd trade Dwight for lopez, kardashian, and a bunch of picks that'll end up being really low. I don't think anything is happeneing soon. Just weighing his options.

I just never understood -- why not us? Why can't Orlando be a premiere FA destination? Why is it always Boston/LAL/Miami?

You have a chance to play with Dwight Howard, a gorgeous new arena, and no state taxes. Orlando isn't a bad city either. Why is there never any reports of Deron, Ray Allen, LeBron, Bosh, etc ever having interest in Orlando? It's ridiculous. Magic fans are and will always be screwed.

Even if small market teams land a superstar, they only get to have him for 7 years. The NBA is about to become a 5 team super-league and will lose interest from many of its fans. It's seriously becoming a joke.

He has the worst contract in basketball and in a few years when he's in his 30's and no longer playing like an all star he'll be getting paid over $20 million a season?

Exactly, we always bring good FAs, like Hill, Tmac and Rashard... the problem was that we only had capspace when Rashard was a FA and that wasnt a good year in terms of FAs.

As for D12, he wants to leave, how would he atract anyone except women?

you never hear these things because the general NBA population of fans are casual and are more interested in hearing about the NY LA Bostons of the world than Orlando which is known more for its theme parks than sports franchises

I hate to see this happen but I trust that we are doing the right thing and it will help us in the long run.
