Rob better not trade D12 for Humphries, Lopez, M Brooks and 3 future 1st rd picks. 3 scrubs and 3 bad picks, those picks won't be lottery picks if the Nets have D Will,Joe Johnson,Crash and D12.

Anything but the Nets or Lakers. I don't like Bynum.

Besides, we have to work with teams that can take on JRich and Duhons contract also. Atlanta and Houston can.

Yes. Al Horford is more than a rich man's Brook Lopez. He's a poor man's Tim Duncan.

Teams under the cap have the full MLE, teams over have about half ($3mil)

Team under the luxury tax, not cap. Brooklyn has the MLE now because the Joe Johnson trade put them over the cap.

I didn't know you could get the MLE during the same offseason you entered it being under the cap. Interesting.

Can someone explain to me how the nets can afford to sign Dwill for the max, D12 for the max, trade for JJ whose on a max deal, sign Wallace for 10mil, sign that euro for 5-6?? Just those 5 are around 75mil, add in players to fill the roster and thats easily an 85mil payroll

Also, that would make it almost impossible to trade them a bad contract like duhon, Jrich or Hedo

I thought it was so long as your cap space isn't greater than the MLE amount. So if you have 5 mil in cap space, and the MLE is 6 mil. you can use the 6 mil.

Not sure if it's changed or the dynamics of this situation though.

Random, but wasn't there some twitter last year that was part of the movement to get Dwight to stay? There should be another one, just to protest the trade to Brooklyn. @noNetstradeplease or @noLopeztradeORL or create something, then get all the magic fans to follow and tweet it to baumann and other media folk to bring attention to the fact that we fans don't support this trade!!!!

No trade proposals, just protest of the stupidity. It should only tweet stuff like, "we will not buy season tickets for Lopez and junk, if you agree RT" and see how many agree. If a bunch of people do this, yall think the message would get out there? lol

I don't care if he goes to the Nets, but not straight up. I want young, good players, good draft picks. 3 team it if anything.

They'd trade Wallace, Lopez, Kris, and Brooks. They can inflate Lopez and Kris as high as other team will allow giving them more room. They'd have 62.5 locked up in D12, Dwill, JJ, and MLE.

They cant sign D12 if they sign all of these players.
