"Rob BETTER not make that trade..." Or what LOL, Wtf are people going to actually do if he does....stop watching???? Oooooooooo that'll show him. Calm down people.

Sounds like you need to calm down as well. Who says they're going to stop watching? It would just be hugely disappointing/shocking if Henny trades with the Nets after rejecting their call the day before. Would show inexperience, indecisiveness and desperation. Not a good start if that's how it goes. Now i'm going to wait to see how things unfold, but if the above happens I will be pissed off.

Ron will get Bynum and then get the Phoenix medical staff. Rob knows that the Phoenix staff is the best and can make sure Bynum never misses more than 10 games a year. Lol

If we do the Nets deal then a third or fourth team has to be involved i mean there's no way we should take those guys on and still have Hedo and any combination of duhon/baby/j-rich still on the roster......Salary dump or young talent and picks if we go the Nets route

Linda Cohn is better than that.

Even if Lakers are willing to part with Bynum, there needs to be more to it than that. 3rd team has to get involved. Rob needs to try and dump Hedo, Jason, and/or Duhon's contracts as well as gaining a few picks back. Andrew is expiring after next season. So if he gets hurt or just doesn't work out here, then he can walk and we pocket the money.

DOES THE MAGIC ORGANIZATION INTEND TO PAIR BYNUM WITH SOMEONE LIKE ELLIS AND EXPECT TO GET PAST THE HEAT ? THAT AINT HAPPENING, HE'S GOTTEN HIS ASS HANDED TO HIM FOR TWO STRAIGHT YEARS NOW WITH KOBE **** BRYANT ON HIS TEAM. REBUILD, NOT RELOAD, WE HAVE TO CHANGE EVERYTHING, BYNUM WILL HAVE STUCK WHERE WE ARE RIGHT NOW BUT POTENTIALLY WITH WORSE DEFENSE AND SLIGHTLY BETTER OFFENSE. HOLY ****.

You rebuild with good players. There's no denying that Bynum is one of the top three centers in the league.

She basically said the nets could be giving up too much for Dwight but they have to do it. She said Orlando is getting a great deal and that both sides would be extremely happy. Do these idiots even watch the games???

Shes an idiot.

Why is SHE talking about sports anyways? Has anyone ever found a woman who knew what the hell she was talking about when it comes to basketball? if a woman is gonna be on tv talking about sports, you better look real good so we can forgive your stupidity, this does not apply to mrs cohn!

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba--magic-eye-lakers-center-andrew-bynum-as-target-in-potential-dwight-howard-trade.html

As the Orlando Magic work to unload superstar Dwight Howard, management is becoming increasingly focused on a potential trade package centered on Los Angeles Lakers All-Star center Andrew Bynum, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The Lakers and Magic have had talks about a possible deal, and plan to talk further about constructing a trade. No deals are imminent, and the process has remained fluid as teams have begun to inquire with more serious offers for Howard.

Sources say there is one other trade scenario for a significant player that intrigues Magic general manager Rob Hennigan, but that target is unclear. Before the Magic would agree to consummate a trade for Bynum, they would need to know they could sign him to a contract extension, sources said. Bynum is entering the final year of his contract in the 2012-13 season.

A lot of interesting stuff in this article.

losing a superstar player and getting back the #2 center in the league (that has a higher ceiling than dwight) and cap relief for 2013 with a gm at the helm making solid draft acquisitions? sign me up

Tell me, do you want to be stuck in mediocrity for the next couple of years, or tank get good players, in addition to the ones we would get in the deal from Houston and watch a great young team develp together from the start ?

why send dwight to an east coast team? just hand him over to a team we would be seeing 4 times a year. So not only do you have the heat to beat in the playoffs in the near future but you have Deron williams/Dwight/JJ/GWallace...
I don't get shipping him to NJ@ALL! lakers makes more sense but w/e ... Bynum is our core guy? UHG...I don't think his knee will last much longer...then again probably dwights back won't either :)

Hi Tmac!
I got a question why they hating on me....

but how do you know that offer is even on the table? there's a lot of speculation but no one really knows what's truly been offered.

Damn, even Kyler said this morning that Lakers never offered Bynum and were only shelling out Gasol for Dwight. This ****'s public trade demand has really **** us and limited our offers.

So what you're saying is you want to tank for 5 years? Just give up? Bynum secures a position that's very, very hard to fill with talent AND size. He has offensive and defensive skills. He's the best we'll probably ever get at that position for years. I swear having Dwight has spoiled too many of you guys and you've forgotten what it's like having crappy to serviceable centers.[/quote]

Right there with you, i will never ever understand people infatuation with this guy and personally would only trade for him if we can find another team dumb enough to give us a nice return in a trade later.

Building a team around a piece of **** like that will never work out well

If we can extend or re-sign him, we can easily trade him for great talent. He's an all-star bigman. Those are rare nowadays.
