Guess you missed the part about the Lakers wanting Dwight to commit long-term.

Things aren't gonna happen immediately and its on twitter, this trade is a rumor as of right now. Give the guy some time to work.

He's had plenty of time..

Yup. Getting back an unextended Bynum actually wouldn't be bad. With his bird rights, I think the choice would be up to the Magic to resign him or not IMO.

Where do you see him signing now?

Guess you missed the part about Bynum being a free agent this summer too. No Difference.

Why rush into anything? We've got plenty of time. As soon as Dwight realizes he's not going to NJ he'll be more open to other teams. Until then the Lakers are not willing to make that kind of trade to RENT dwight for one season.

IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU WANT BYNUM, WE CAN ONLY GET HIM IF DWIGHT SIGNS AN EXTENSION AND HE WON'T SO ITS A MOOT POINT

OH i need to grow up? i'm just pointing out that Andrew bynum has had more injuries than Brook Lopez and Al Horford put together. I'm just stating the facts since we have a bad history of getting players with knee issues and then it blowing up in our faces. remember Grant Hill and Gilbert Arenas.

"Only IF Dwight Signs An Extension"

Yeah Orlando wants the same assurance from Bynum. So What are they waiting on? Talk to the two, ask them. dwight will probably say no and as we all know Bynum will play anywhere there is money so why can't we just trade both of them unextended? Both teams will either gain or lose the same thing.

Injury is a aprt of the game. You can't focus solely on that aspect of someone who is in the same categories as others for that matter. Dwight could have a serious issue you know? I really don't see the difference.

In other news... the Yankees and Red Sox consummated a trade today and the Patriots and Jets are closing in on their trade talks as well.

Official? Nothing's official. They never officially made that offer.

Everything is rumor and speculation.

I was wondering because of several posts claiming Houston took themselves out of the Howard sweepstakes.

Oh really mr devos? And who the **** are you pretending to know what it takes to be a gm of a professional basketball team. God damnit, this isnt like pressing "A" to force the Lakers to accept the trade.

Jason Thompson is lolworthy, but I'd rather have Horford than Bynum, any day.

At least Horford isn't physiologically predisposed toward serious physical injury. Bynum is a ticking timebomb.

Thats quite obviously the feeling. We dont have a coach, we don't have a total team put together no game plan or anything. It's july. We have been dealing with this since MAY. Rob's answers at the presser indicates he a a slow mover , but in more of a thorough way, which is nice to have but some assertiveness is deserving to the fans of this team. It seems as though Rob is unwilling at this point. But who knows?

Anyhow I know I'd much rather know my team as a coach, coming into this situation with a franchise.
