Yeah, I think he's done in LA

Kobe or Sessions could get Dwight the ball. He's so much more athletic than Andrew the passes don't need to be as perfect because Dwight can adjust to the pass far better than a guy like Bynum can. Also, if Dwight comes to the Lakers the Clippers won't be the only "lob city" in LA.
It would be one of the greatest moves by a GM in NBA history. 2005 10th pick Andrew Bynum for 2004 #1 overall pick Dwight freaking Howard! OMG!

My point though - if Nets tell Teletovic (sp?) that he's got a deal at MLE - well sorry, bring that down to Mini-MLE and no hard cap

L.A. saves on the heavy tax year, while Orlando identifies 2014 as their year to go after free agents.

Pincus gets things right once in every blue moon, you'd probably be better off not quoting him again.
As far as this quote though, why would Brooklyn put themselves in a position to offer someone money then turn around and ask that person to take a pay cut? I'd like to think Brooklyn is more prepared than that.

By the way the Lakers are in on Nash in a S and T.

Nash in huge demand around the league, with multiple teams trying to get in hourly, per source.

As Raptors, Knicks & Mavs-fight 4 Steve Nash, the Lakers have also quietly entered the picture & are making a hard push, per league source.

Good deal for the Lakers, just to get Steve Blake off their hands.

Jason's contract extends past the 2014 season so there's two scenarios. With Howard commanding the max already, LA can offer two more max free agents (this is of course assuming that LA does not give out more than 2year deals or 3year deals with the 3rd being a team option this summer). Thats about 50M in salary on 3 players. Now we get to Kobe Bryant, does he want to continue playing? If so, out of the projected $8M to $10M remaining, Jason's contract takes up $6M. What exactly would LA offer Kobe? Mini-MLE or their remaining $2M - $4M in cap room...That won't cut it..
Jason Richardson's contract is toxic, here's why..
In the summer of 2014, LA can have Dwight, Max FA, Max FA, and Kobe at a discounted price of about $10M.
With Jason on board, that's not possible,,,
Here's a list of the potential 2014 free agents...
