i do not want to overpay Ilyasova!!!! Please BK. Two overpaid players is enough. I don't want him anywhere near this team. He can't even rebound well and with Lopez next to him we need some rebounding.

Bring back Mr. Kardashian. He's old reliable. Always bring you back a double double. Nothing more nothing less.

With Teletovic at the helm, I'll pick Hump...

Hump. Ilyasova + Tele is just so redundant. I'm still having a hard time believe that Ilyasova is the back up plan if we can't get Howard now.

Honestly, I'm good with Teletovic and Evans as our PFs. But if King is dead-set on spending more money on one of these two, Kris is less redundant.

Ilyasova is the better player, and it's not close.

Ersan is better, but not by all that much. Still, would you still take him even though we already have Mirza?

Honestly, I wish we had Ilyasova and Kidd, instead of Teletovic and either of Humphries or Ersan. We could have really used Jason well at the ends of games.

He's a significantly better defender, had very similar production on a much better team last season despite playing almost 8mpg less, is a vastly superior and more diverse offensive player and is 2 years younger.

Do you need any more?

Ilyasova had a higher rebound rate than Humphries last season.

I was talking about their rebounds per minute.

We can parse rebounding numbers to decide who's better in that department, but really, it's basically a wash. The problem is, Kris doesn't bring much other than that. He's a better shot-blocker, but blocks can be a glory stat more than a reflection of actual defense (see: Camby, Marcus). Ersan is a smoother and more efficient scorer, both in the lane and from 3-point range.

To me, it comes down to team need. We're not going to have a problem scoring this year, so Ilyasova's advantages over Humphries may go underutilized. Meanwhile, if Kris can give us anything defensively that Ersan cannot, it could make a bigger impact in the W/L column.
