JV's offensive instincts are great, but he seems unlikely, as a 20 year old, to be strong enough or smart enough defensively to be a great center, so we're going to be terrible again. This would be fine, since most good centers aren't NBA starters in at 20, if our GM wasn't under the impression we should be doing anything other than playing young guys, losing 60 games and collecting top 5 picks.

Jonas heard the Nash to NY rumors, it's clearly affecting his play.

Wait, so why didn't they try to foul and win it?

Because losing by 6 still clinches first seed. So they jsut let Nigeria go with that, and at the same time, eliminated Venezuela.

Venezuela refused to shake hands and got all pissed at Lithuania for taking a timeout with 4 seconds left in the first game. No doubt Kezmura had that on his mind and told his team not to foul as we'll be in first place in our group and Venezuela will go out if the score stays as it is.

Kezmura with the silent f**k you to Venezwala.

He still had a decent 10pts 5reb 1bl 5/6 fg game, but should have played better

Lithuania could afford to lose by 9, anything more than that would make them to fall to second place in group

The irony is that Venezuela got pissed at Lithuania for trying to boost their points differential. As it turns out point difference is exactly what knocked Venezuela out. They shouldn't have got so heated about it, point difference is important in a 3 team group and they just found out why.

Hold your horses, Nigeria need to win two more knock out games. Which is highly unlikely.
