Steve Nash Appreciation Thread

Still hurt by his decision, but he gave heart, his body and 8 years of his career to try bring the first NBA championship to Phoenix.

This stings so much. I have no idea how I am going to react once the season starts.

Thank you Steve Nash for making the Suns fun to watch again after the end of the Charles BArkley and KJ era . The decision you made was not based on basketball but your family and I can respect that but as far as you trying to make Sarver look innocent he is not and in fact is the one who has stabbed Phoenix Suns fans in the back today but your right when you hope someday we win a championship we will make no mistake about it but there won't be any Sarver or Blanks or bAbby when we win it all thank god for that whenever that date is I am sure we will all enjoy it!

At least Nash fans (specifically) can rest well knowing he'll be treated well by the organisation and not be low-balled with a crap team.

Waste of a thread. Kevin Johnson = loyalty, duty, and respect. Nash thanks, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

Only a fan of Arizona teams!

"The truth is I'm a bit old school," Nash said in the June 25 interview. "For me, it would be hard to put on a Lakers jersey. That's just the way it is."

I don't care how good he was in our jersey. Can't appreciate right now anything after going to the Lakers.
Hill on Nash going to the Lakers: “That’s like transferring from Duke and going to Carolina.”

I remember reading that quote just a few days ago. Funny how fast things changed.

YOu had to send him to the Lakers???
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

You guys who are posting that quote do know that you're taking him out of context and he ended that paragraph by saying he would be considering everything regardless of past and future?

Saying that it would be hard to put on a Lakers jersey was a statement of tough decisions he would need to make. Not that it would be impossible for him to go to the Lakers.
