I think he's bringing up the fact that the Heat organization has a CHANCE to sign Ray Allen rather than him knowing we have him locked up 100%. Wade probably knows that Allen joining the team would be huge and is alluding to that face, in my opinion.

Little-discussed fact, but the Heat decided not to extend an offer to Terrel Harris, making him a UFA. That means we just freed a wing slot. That's probably the biggest indicator we're getting RayRay. PEACE.

@Pimperwx

We are prolly getting Harris back, it's just that the Heat don't want to give him that big offer. Otherwise, we would not have put him in the summer league program.

Harris: So Riles, let's discuss that qualifying offer.
Riley: No.
Harris: Why?
Riley: We are doing our best to save money for a very special occasion tomorrow.

Makes sense, but a little bit of a dick move by Riley since i'm sure Harris wanted to play for the heat. But it does allow him to make more money through FA possibly.

I'm really optimistic we're getting Ray to be honest.

However I remember when we waived Gladness and people thought we were getting Pryzbilla. It didn't happen.

But Riley, LeBron, Wade are really going hard after Allen. Even publicly. He should go where he's wanted and that's here. He won't be expected to do as much here. Just some 3's. In Boston, even Bill Simmons has slanted Ray. Ray was even traded but it was canceled last minute. If I were in Ray's spot I wouldn't want to go back to Boston lol. But I guess if things aren't as bad as they seem, he'd resign with Boston. But Terry will be getting more time in Ray's spot, or even Avery Bradley.

We just won the title and knocked out Ray and his team the past 2 years. If he wants a championship, the obvious answer is us. And it's not like we're asking him to join for the vet min lol.

What is this? Cocky HEAT fan on 790?

The title is going to be a bit harder next year. With the addition of Nash, I could see LA making it to the title and beating us due to size. Bosh as our only big? We need a Camby, Kaman, Dalbert or someone big to defend the post. Joel must be traded!

At the same time, Rio in 2012-2013 is much better than the version of Steve Nash at 37 years old...so the advantage at pg evens things out.

According to Twitter the Heat are meeting with Ray Allen. Maybe this is what D-Wade means. I don't think he'll make a decision today.

I think he means that today is the day Riley is supposed to meet with Allen so hopefully the day ends with a verbal committment from Ray.

If Clips sign Jamal Crawford today, I think Ray announces asap.

Return to Miami Heat
