Toronto Fan helping the Knicks get Nash
The only S&T that would work package Chandler, Shumpert, Douglas & Balkman about 20 million with 1.25 have $25 million.
Get Gortat 7.2 Nash 9.5, 15, 15 & Childress 6.5 and likely some cash

Why Knicks want Nash
Why Phoenix gets some value and gets rid of Childress
Why I would rather have Dragic/Lowry or Lin

No thanks we can get Shumpert without giving up Gortat and taking on Chandler's huge deal.
Hill on Nash going to the Lakers: “That’s like transferring from Duke and going to Carolina.”

Gambo620: Suns offer to Dragic is 4 years 30 mill, Houston offer might be for more so if he turns it down tomorrow Suns turn attention to Felton.

What power forwards could we get with the tpe? I'm not a huge fan of frye/Morris/warrick being our options.

Correct me if I'm wrong but we didn't receive a trade exception since where under the cap. If Gordon signs it might be another case, though.

I think we received the TPE from the Nash S&T --- the one Dallas traded to LA for Odom.

Yes, but we're under the cap and in ordner to gain cap space you have to renounce all of your exceptions (for instance MLE, BAE and your trade exceptions).

Is it possible that we still maintain rights to lopez + brooks and signed either Goran or Beasley before the Nash S&T? That would put us close enough to the cap so and we'd still have the TPE available. But you're right, we'd probably end up renouncing it anyway to access our cap space. It's a moo point.

If we get Gordon without having to do a S&T, I'd look for the Suns to possibly offer Houston the Lakers 2013 pick for Morris. The Suns were rumored to have been looking for another 1st rd pick last year to grab both Morris'.
