Future Of The Kings

Raptors fan here, just want to say that I love your team and will definitly be catching some games this year :D . First off, I love the Robinson pick (is my favorite player from the draft) and think that he is going to bring some toughness and an attitdue that was needed. I also think that his offensive game is underrated, but at the very least you know that his rebounding will translate. With him and Cousins at the 5, it seems that your frontcourt is set for the next decade. They should form the pairings of the most athletic and tough 4/5 in the NBA.

I like Thomas at the 1, and was shocked at just how well he played. Thorton is a great scorer, however he seems to not to much else. It seems to me that the odd man out is Evans. There is no way that he can effectivley play the 3, it just will not happen. He has regressed his last 3 years, and has yet to show improvement. I think that the best route to go would be to move Evans and start building your team from the front-court out. Both Thorton and Thomas are great 3 point shooters and compliment Robinson and Cousins well. Batum would have been a good fit for your team, however what he is being offered by the Wolves is disghusting to say the least.

Just want to wish you the best on the upcoming season, and I am seriously considering switching to the Kings after all the stupid and short-sighted moves that Colangelo has made :x

Your right about the frontcourt. I dont think Evans will be playing sf next year. Thorton will be our 6th man. Hopefully we make a trade for a proven sf.
