They canceled the visit with Allen and made those deals because he already said he was signing with the Heat 8-)

Boston will desperately ramp up their efforts, it's pathetic really... trying to pretend they "care" when the Terry signing clearly indicates something entirely different. The money thing is purely to keep us from getting better. Same reason they wanted to get both Bibby AND Troy Murphy when they had no need for either a couple seasons back.

I took a lot of crap for saying Ray wouldn't meet with the Clippers and would sign with the Heat today...How about some apologies for doubting Pat Riley...
