Ersan is a better defender, better scorer, and younger. Ersan is one of better hustle players in the league and fights for every rebound. Seems like a no brainer for you guys. Only reason not to do it is if you can get Hump way cheaper.

Bucks don't want Hump tho. I'd rather let Ersan walk than take him back. Just a waste of money on an inferior player that we have no need for. He's got some stats but we know those aren't a true reflection. Our GM is stupid enough to do it tho.

I would also suggest that people not worry about fit right now. Worry about talent per $.

Neither variation makes us a contender. So in the end...we have more work to do. You would rather stock your pond with the best talent you can get. So? If it isnt an S&T for Dwight now...obviously the next hope is Dwight before the deadline. Ilyasova is a better trade acquisition for Orlando than Hump is. I am still hoping that Orlando wants this over now rather than in season...but if we have to go that route...better talents makes for a better trade partner.

And if it isnt Dwight...whose next? Ilyasova is drawing interest all over the league. So far, Hump has received one offer in two off seasons. Its from us last year for a one year deal and he took it following his "break out year".

Think bigger than "fit" my friends.

If we get Dwight, you go for Ersan.

If we stay with Brook, pickup Hump.

Kris is an all hustle guy, still a double double every night and you can't doubt his effort. He can defend well. so right now if I had to decide I'd rather pickup Hump. I think with our current group, he fits in better. With JJ, Dwill brook and gerald, scoring will be fine, we need defense and rebounding way more than scoring.

From what I've read and seen though, Ilyasova is a comparable rebounder and a better defender, while being superior offensively.

Everyone say it with me now, "Hump is not a good defender. He is a bad one."

Thanks for your time.

I wouldn't even say talent per $, but just TALENT PERIOD. We're struggling trying to find a taker for Hump, whereas Ilyasova is, as you said, gaining interest all over.

If anything Ilyasova becomes a better trade chip for Dwight or someone else should it come to that.

Huh? Humphries doesn't even have to contract how are we struggling to find someone to offload him to? It's tricky bc that team and hump need to agree and they also need to do something for Orlando .

Although it seemed like last year no one really burned up the line for him.
. Maybe those rebound numbers are inflated after all huh?

No one lined up for him last year, and no one wants him this year either. We offer him to Orlando and it comes out we need a 3rd team to make it work because they don't want him. We do the same to Bucks, and again it comes out we need a 3rd team to make it work because they don't want him.

Put it this way, if the reverse was true and we had BOTH Lopez and Ilyasova on our team and we are trying to package them for Dwight. You think the odds that Orlando accepts a deal is better or not?

It looks like Ilyasova is staying in Milwaukee, so Hump wins by default!

I think that's even in question now... I heard Philly wants to sign him and that's why they cut Brand.

Quite honestly, this could get ugly if a D12 deal doesn't happen ASAP.

We at least needed to get a TPE and a scrubby PF with some potential back for the Hump.

Or even send him to Houston for Camby if possible.
