basketball is fun. I remember when I was about 4 years when I saw a tape of Magic Johnson in El Salvador. My grandpa had received it from my dad as a gift sometime after I was born as it was a copy of a game from the 87 Finals. I had a small basketball but was more enchanted with my Tonka remote control truck my dad had sent me from the U.S. I left El Salvador for the U.S. two days before my 4th birthday and was playing basketball the next day along with learning to ride a bike.
the years passed and I must say basketball is something which calms me. When the soles of my shoes hits the pavement or wood floor, I feel something inside come alive. Every dribble, pass, shot is an expression of my joy for this very sport. Needless to say I am also a Lakers fan and though my days of playing to play in the NBA are gone, i still enjoy lacing up my sneakers every now and then.
