All of this could have been done over the phone. What is there to discuss?

When Riley recruited Shane Battier, it was over the phone. His agent receives the contract offer. Riley tells him what his role will be on the team, and what the vision is.

Not much else to say. Allen came down here to Miami to "meet" with us in the same way Derek Fisher came down here to Miami to meet with us in 2010.

Ray Allen already knows where he wants to go. I don't see what's so hard about this. If it was Miami, he would have already agreed.

yea, not feeling too good about our chances right now...i can totally see him going back to Boston as they are getting the band back together...more money, loves playing for Doc and he gets the no trade clause...him staying overnight means diddly, who wouldnt want to stay in Miami another night in July..go to the club, hit up the beach, etc...
