Lowry is the teams vocal leader, and he lays his body on the line to win games. I wouldn't feel its right if we pay dragic more than lowry.

I doubt Dragic would make suns much better. Their loss of Nash is a tremendous lost. And the reason dragic did well for rockets, we had decent role players who can make shots.

If dragic was a winner, he would fight to stay with the Rockets. He knew he'd get difficulty getting a starting job in Rockets against Lowry. Why go to Suns? Cuz he can get starting position, and become a mediocre bball team. Not a winner in my book.

Dragic went to Suns b/c they are slowly building a nice young core with Beasley, Eric Gordon, Dragic, Markeiff Morris, and of course Gortat. Killer group with bench led Dudley.

I'm not impressed with that team but I guess they have a good excuse, rebuilding. Don't see them making the playoffs with that lineup. NO leaders. Beasley-guy with alot of offcourt issues. EG- Never been on a winning team. Hornets worst team (and he was injured for a while), CLippers, team sucked although he was the main core. Dragic- Skillful player, no leadership. Markief Morris-Better than Marcus , but far from being consistent or great rookie, still raw. Gortat- Hmmm he will suffer tremendously. As much as I like dragic, he is no steve nash. Nash gives these forwards and centers so many easy points, they'll realize it only when hes gone.

Goran Dragic contract tweak: it's a 4-year, $30M deal with potential to be $34M from annual $1M All-Star bonuses. 4th year is player option.

wow...this is what we offered Lin; whom reportedly might not even take our offer.

we shouldve matched that, theres pretty much no way he'd make allstar team. 7.5m/year is perfectly reasonable

Lin would be crazy for wanting to stay with NY..They now play a halfcourt walk it up offense with horrible ball movement..

One thing to take into consideration is Dragic's agent is Bill Duffy who is the same agent that represents Steve Nash and shortly after the Suns agreed to send Nash where he wanted Dragic comes to terms with the Suns.

He did agree to sign the Rockets' offer sheet, but NY said they'll match any offer for Lin. Its not even that big of a contract, at least make it 30mil
