Barbosa UFA

Post#1 » by WTFsunsFTW » Fri Jul 6, 2012 7:21 am

You know who is an UFA, played well with Dragic, and was adored by phoenix fans?

THE BRAZILIAN BLUR

If the Gordon signing doesn't go through I would LOVE to have him back here. Great shooter, great slasher, amazing speed, huge wingspan, great stealer, and knows the system.

I'd prefer him over Mayo IMHO

C'mon phx!

Who is with me!?

Let's bring in all forming Suns players, Barbosa, J- Rich, Tim Thomas and Pat Burke.

Blur for cheap > Mayo

I haven't heard any interest from the Suns yet...

i actually thought dragic and LB didn't play well together... isn't that why LB asked for a trade? PHX was committing more to Dragic at the time, and Barbosa's minutes and production were going down because of it. Or at least that's what i thought was going on at the time...

I honoestly loved the Dragic/Barbosa backcourt. Both very speedy players, they tore apart defences and either finished at the, or kicked it out.

Barbosa would be a welcome signing to us if he chose to come here.

Yes, if Gordon can not be signed, I am all for Barbosa at SG.

If the roster needs a wing and he's cheap (CHEAP), then sure why not. Would be cool to see an almost "throwback" model of the Suns for a short while.

Sweet....looking forward to see Barbosa in the olympic games. Supposedly Brazil should have it's best campaign since the late 80's.

+1000000

Barbosa?

6'3 out of control tweener with no handles no court vision and is turnover prone.

I'm glad he's gone.

Yes, you should. You have like 4 or 5 7 footers. Argentina (in full) struggled against Brazil without Barbosa, Nene or Varejao in the qualifying tourny. Not really sure how it's gonna turn out tonight though.

It was nice to see Leandro live and so close :D

Didn't he say he didn't want to play here if Nash was gone?

No thanks on barbosa. That kid was one of the most infuriating suns players I have ever watched in my entire life.

Loved him back in the day, but I'd MUCH rather Bayless now that TOR pulled their offer and he's an UFA

The fallback point to Gordon is pretty much Shannon, Redd, Mayo, Barbosa, and Foye.

Foye is the guy I want if u can get him at 4 million for a year or two. Shannon won't sign here for one year - he specifically wants multi-year. Mayo is just an over-priced role player. Redd is only good as backup. And Barbosa, only if he comes cheap. Don't really like his game.

Foye is more stable. Maybe even better than Mayo.

You brought back Dragic.

Might as well bring em all back: Barbosa, Diaw, Lou!

You guys forgot Lou is a free agent...
