I do not think they will but if the right deal with a third team was offered then yes I think they would. I highly doubt that they would do Pau and Bynum for Dwight

Pau and Bynum for Dwight isn't possible under the CBA. Contracts have to match.

I wonder who it is?

Kobe!!!

Only kidding of course. My guess is that it will be either Blake or MWP.

What ever happened to the "intriguing" player that Henny mentioned earlier this week? Has any more info come out about that or was that just a smoke screen?

Give me a little bit. I'll post what the article is saying. This is probably the biggest thing I've seen yet. Looks like Dwight being traded is imminent (in my opinion). I'll post up the quotes in a few from CSNNE.

no more info. Could've been a ploy but who knows.

If MWP were traded here, I'd bet he is either bought out or traded again or something. He would probably just be included to help make salaries work.

Reporter Jackie Pepper not only said she heard the Lakers want to make an Andrew Bynum for Dwight Howard swap, but also she put this on her personal blog:

"The source says the Lakers have informed one player that he might be part of the package deal and that he could be traded at any moment."

Second, giving a player a heads-up that he could be moved and have to take his live and family across the country is not uncommon. It’s usually done through an agent, manager or some other channel, just a heads up that it could be coming. If the Lakers did that with a name player it would not be a shock.

I was listening to the radio the other day, and MWP was giving an interview and he said "We have the best center in the league.....I don't care what NOBODY says, he is definitely number 1. Nobody is better". Or something like that.

It would be hella strange to say that considering he had to know that there is a chance Bynum could be traded for Dwight any day now....I have a feeling he is the second player being mentioned. Although, he could just be being himself, which is weird by default.

I swear if we're eatinghis contract, they better be taking either Hedo or Duhon. Or both.

What would be fair value for Bledsoe?

he is more valued from CLipper land than anywhere else. The kid had 2 good playoff games and everyone is all gaga over him all of a sudden. he had less than 6 ppg, 2 apg versus Memphis. doesnt drive the basket, doesnt get to the line, cant shoot the 3. not understanding why people love this kid so much.

I really hope it's not MWP. He's such a headache and not worth the trouble or his contract.

That Pepper chick is (supposedly) an Assoc. Producer for Yahoo! She didn't report the info to anyone but put it on her own blog. She's just trying to make a name for herself, who knows how true it is... but no one else is running with it. She probably couldn't get a legit news editor to accept her claims so she went to her personal blog.

If it is ... he's said he would likely retire if traded.

your "legit" reporter is just repeating a BR writer.

David Wiess‏@WiessD

To be clear this is not a done deal yet, but source tells me @DwightHoward could become a Laker sometime over the weekend.

36mDavid Wiess‏@WiessD

Source: After speaking w/ Kobe & Nash and liking what he heard, @DwightHoward has told the @Lakers he'll sign contract extension with them.

and here is him on BR,
