If the Hornets don't match the Suns offer to Eric Gordon or if he is a Sun by via sign & trade. Something tells me that in the first round it will be a Suns/Lakers matchup next year as the Suns maybe are the 7th seed and the Lakers are the 2nd Seed with obviously OKC being the 1st seed. I don't know I just have that feeling I could be wrong but its just a feeling.

I really really doubt this team will make the playoffs.

we won't. Too many players changed, most of them very young, will take a while for them to learn to play together.

Tough to say, last year's squad nearly made the playoffs, we lost Steve Nash but we might be able to add Gordon and already have Beasley and Dragic locked in. Let's say we keep Grant on a cheap deal as our main wing defender and you have your borderline-playoff team. Let's wait and see how our roster looks like. We really need to round up our front court rotation (Darrell Arthur might be available since Memphis just signed Speights) some veterans (I pray Hill will be back, Redd would be nice also) and minimum guys.

My point is not on the quality of the roster (which i believe tends to be very good with the changes being made), but on the lack of time they will have been playing together. And other teams on our conference are also improving...
