Lol, our source (wAtChOut) says that Ray is a done deal. A new Celtics source that has popped up on their board as a ball boy is saying that Ray is going back.

The guy basically said that Ray met with us because he wants to consider all of his options. As a competitor, he hates us, but outside of competition, he respects the organization. There was legitimate interest, but supposedly, Ainge has him due to the no-trade clause or trade kicker that is going to be put in. We'll see.

TBH, if I were a player, I would be disrespected if someone put something in my contract because I had to tell them to. If you don't think I am worth that, then not doing business with you. With the big ego and pride issues player have, I am surprised that they don't really view it as an insult, or simple appeasement, rather than the team believing you are actually worth that.

That's OT. It has nothing to do with Ray Allen, Just a random thought about FA.

Agreed. I just want to put the information out there as it comes. I in no way am suggesting that it's correct. I just figured I'll put out what I find out and everyone can make the call if it's legit themselves.
