Skolnick apparently said it on 790 the ticket. Even then, that doesn't mean anything.

In general, with the way the league is today, it does not matter if you are a championship team. Players want to feel big (ego-wise). They want you to get on your knees and beg them to play for your team. It's sad since Rileu is one of the best in the biz. He built a contender. Players know what we can offer then and what we are missing (center, consistant shooter) so they should be coming to us if they are serious, not waiting for Riley to blow them.

Riley knows this, if you are serious, you will come here.

This is in general, nothing really to do with Allen.

This has nothing to do with Skolnick knowing if they agreed to a deal or not. Just knowing if he left Miami or not. He could have very well left with an agreement. Skolnick apparently got off the radio during his interview to make some more calls to find out if there were more specifics.

You can but with Miami being over the cap the salaries need to match so unless Allen is signing for next to nothing then this is crap

Depends on what you value currently. Battier is the far superior defender but his shooting took a hit during the season. If he shot more to his career averages then I would lean Battier at this current time.
