i'd say so. he's still better than mario chalmers. 15 ppg on 46% from 3 last year. it's the ankle injury that really killed his season.

If Ray left and there's nothing out about an agreement, I think it looks bad for us IMO. and I hope he at least informed us before he left. It's looking like things are synching up with that rando Boston forum guys source. I really just want this to be over lol.

Teams don't fear when Battier shoots the ball. Teams fear Ray Allen. That's what really makes him a great player.

That's sound thinking. He and his family have been in Boston the past five seasons. Makes sense that he's somewhat torn. If it was an easy decision he'd have made his choice back on July 1st and been done with it.

Yep the ankle affected everything. Even FTs.

Now he's going to go back to Boston and he's going to talk to them. Not looking good...

Yeah. Sounds like it's leading up to that. wAtChOut where you at?

Ray Allen, the master of sending cryptic messages. Those messages (or lack thereof) are holding up the line:

it really seems like a joke account at first glance but dude has over 30k followers and, when you look at his timeline, he keeps breaking stories. he had jkidd going to ny before everyone else, for example.

Ray Allen has verbally agreed to a deal with the Miami ‪#Heat‬. Yet another former All-Star teaming up with Wade and LeBron.

He has like 10 000 tweets and around 1000 followers.

How credible are these sources?

I think that would depend on if we are getting the ECF/Finals Battier or the regular season Battier.

Lol yeah honestly have never seen Battier shoot like that ever. I used to watch a ton of Rockets games when they had TMac and Battier never had a stretch like that. He shot well, but nowhere close to what he did in the finals.

But yeah, Ray is a different animal.

We need to manage minutes next year, We need healthy ray for playoffs.I dont think at his age he can give us a good regular season, but he can give us great playoffs.

I follow incarcerated bob. Sometimes the guy nails it WAY before anyone else. Other times he is dead wrong. For example...he said Peyton has agreed to sign with Denver long before anyone else.

Ray has always been known as one of the best conditioned athletes in the NBA. I don't think age is really a factor for him. Last year was about the ankle. Especially in the playoffs. Just bad timing.

They originally tweeted both of those a couple of hours ago. They are both from Troll accounts. They aren't credible at all.

Hell no. Battier or Chalmers is more important.

Although I guess importance is different from who's the best

Ric Bucher ‏@RicBucher
Sources: TWolves are the heretofore unnamed dark-horse team in the Ray Allen Sweepstakes. Dark, though, as in jet-black.

Supposedly a pic of Ray Allen on his flight back to Boston. Doesn't mean much other than he is on a flight back to Boston.
