Ha! My friend posted that pic. He said Ray was cool. Everyone onboard telling him to sign here, but he was not giving anything away. Emilio & Gloria Estefan on the flight too, so maybe they can offer his wife a record deal, if she even sings. My friend said this, which I have no idea what it means:

"nice guy, wouldn't comment. but his checked bag was half empty from baggage claim!"

well it doesn''t seem like he's signing here but who cares. let's jump on Camby/Rashard .. that would still be a huge improvement. I'm beyond good with that.. I just want some clarity on what his deal is because we've been hyping Ray coming here for a while now and it's getting annoying.

Also i'm going to lol when one of Ray/Terry is crying because there's some many good players at the SG spot & if they move Bradley aside, they can have fun guarding Wade again

i don't understand. did you guys expect him to NOT go back to boston after the trip and just stay here until november lol? i think the longer this drags and the better our odds are. ray seems like a cartesian guy who will not make a final decision before going home and thinking it through.

edit: and just because Ray went back to Boston does not mean Miami is dead. Chicago had 2 meetings with Wade, LeBron didnt visit with Miami last, etc

It's possible Ray has come to an agreement with the Heat, and is heading back to Boston to tell his teammates, coaches and other Celtics colleagues first.

It's also possible Ray hasn't made up his mind, or is going to sign with the Celtics.

If he does, then Miami should go for Camby and Rashard Lewis. The truth is, that probably makes more sense for the Heat. A legit rebounding center who can block shots, and another big who can hit 3s. Hey Ibaka: try blocking shots from the 3pt line when you are guarding Rashard. Plus, Ray isn't exactly a great defender at 37, right?
