Elton Brand-Now Available

Post#1 » by jleckie602 » Fri Jul 6, 2012 5:42 pm

So I failed on the Brandon Roy Suggestion. What is required when a Player is amnestied? Can we pick up Brand at a cheap price? I would think that help us greatly for rebuild. Please explain.

Thanks!

The only thing he would be good for is a locker room presence for the younger guys.

I didnt say we build around him lol. If we can pick up for cheap, then id take him, once again our med staff does wonders. He would be great considering our PFs look like Kieff and Frye lol oh and then their is warrick lmao. I say we take him if we can.

oh of course, he could add something we don´t have on our roster in scoring and smartness - and like mentioned earlier could be a great locker room guy, so why not for the vets minimum i´d sign him

Props to the great one

Would pick him up to help Markieff... and if Lopez leaves, Frye can slide to the 5.

He was done after he left the Clippers. I loved his game but his good days are over.

I agree he isnt anything spectacular, but how is putting up 11 and 7 with good defence considered "done?"

His playoff run this year was spectacular, actually. :)

C'mon guys getting Frye and Morris lots of minutes next year will be key for us to net a top 5 lottery pick. We dont need Brand or Gordon at this point that is just going to hurt our draft order; plus next years free agent class looks better to me so we should retain that cap.

If we we got Tyreke or Dwight with that same cap space we would be instant contenders again.

Dragic/Marshall
Evans/Dudley
Beasley/Warrik
draft/Morris
Gortat/Frye

Dragic/Marshall
draft/Dudley
Beasley/Warrik
Gortat/Morris
Howard/Frye

Thats a 1 year rebuild with major youth - a man can dream right? :p

Its good to see there is an increase of the amount of Suns fans who GET IT...

Suns are NOT contending, so NO POINT in adding veterans or declined stars in the lineup to help get that extra 5 wins...

Suns are looking for a new STUD to lead the franchise... hence signings of Beasley, Dragic and offer to Gordon..... and ideally another top 10 pick rookie next year.

Adding Brand just helps the Suns be stuck in MEDIOCRITY...

need to find that YOUNG diamond in the rough.

Brand would of been handy when the Suns were contending or maybe 3 seasons ago.
