The Insiders from ESPN, CBSsports, Yahoo, etc etc all have sources from within the NBA player pool and front office pool. They even have insiders from the Ownership pool. Regardless, none of that guarantees they will break stories. The REAL reason they report "rumors" from "inside sources" is simply so fans click on their website. That's what it's alllll about. Ratings, internet clicks, etc. If your Marc Spears from Yahoo and you speak to your source from Miami and he says Ray Allen left without a deal i n place then you're going to report it even though it means absolutely nothing (just using that as an example).
So as long as they don't go overboard then it's all good. Take it for what it's worth.
In a weird way I value my inside sources and other realgm posters sources more because we can all post what we hear without having to worry about getting fired
