@SpearsNBA Yahoo: Following Heat owner Micky Arison's tweet, several sources tell Yahoo! Sports Ray Allen has committed to Miami.

@daldridgetnt: Second source (not sure you need one on this) says that Allen is going to Miami. Big get for the Heat, big loss for the Celtics.

GOd damn it, I should just stick to my instincts. I knew he's sign here but I kept doubting myself on reports, and the money Boston threw at him (we offered him 1 year more though and its just 3 mil less) and his ties to the Celtics.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF YEAH. I like how people are down playing this saying oh he's one dimensional, this and that... we have players for the defensive end, and that's Battier who can shoot form 3's too. Ray is perfect for RILEY'S VISION of the inside and outside game.

Now I hope we actually run plays for Ray. This just changes our whole dynamic in a very good way. And one more year of LBJ being better in the post too.

I'm happy with just this signing. If we can get Camby, all will be well.

In his 16th season hes still avg 10/5/2.. his ppg should raise to 14-15 running plays for ray ray.

Does this mean Mike Miller will retire (or get amnestied)? What about James Jones?

Assuming no other additions the depth chart currently looks like this:

Bosh/Anthony
Haslem/Pittman??
LeGOAT/Battier/Jones??
Wade/Allen/Miller??
Rio/Cole

Let's just get Camby, send Pittman to the D-league, and call it an offseason

Repeat!
