Val uses way too much hands and upper body movements when positioning his man in the post, those are fouls, he needs to look at the tape and stop doing same things over and over

no, the next two winners are automatically in, then the winner of the two losers get in.

It is not nice to talk about guys looks, but I was thinking the very same thing. More likely very, very very sad, bankrupt Jabba the Hutt. Looks like totally nice person tho.

If they beat Dominican Rep. they get in the Olympics. If they lose they play the loser of Russia/Nigeria, with the winner of that getting in. Lithuania has to win one of the next 2 games.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Wow... interesting. If nigeria wins Russia would be out for blood. If russia wins I think Lithuania kills them.

Lithuania is almost there. Very unlikely they lose to Dominicans and even if they do, I doubt they lose to Nigeria again. Its gotta be Nigeria, Russia is too good.
Hope Val has a good game tomorrow, shows Al Horford whos boss

I think nigeria has as much chance beating Russia as Bobcats to be nba champs upcoming season...

Not great. Played limited minutes due to several fouls. Can fault the refs for some of those.

The second foul wasnt a foul though. The refs somehow decided that he was holding his opponent but in reality it was pretty clear he did not. Refs were really merciless on Jonas. Can't say that he did not deserve three of those calls though. But two of them were doubtful at best.

He's definitely going to be foul prone in his first couple of years. He doesn't have the strength @ C.

+1

When you take a look at the C's that he was playing against (so far) you will realize that most of them have been almost as beefy as Howard. Physically he just wasn't effective enough. However there's no reason to think that JV will be this bad once he matures physically.
